Required Skill:
Must be able to assemble, disassemble, modify, and rework various production mechanical and
some electronic subassemblies, assemblies, and systems. Needs to have the ability to
understand and work from mechanical prints, engineering change orders, drawings, and detailed
written processes. Needs to be competent working on a PC. Ability to be company solder
qualified; also, must pass a color acuity eye exam before starting. Solder inspection and
mechanical inspection experience are required. Must be able to perform mechanical assembly
including torquing and hardware stack-ups. Should have a minimum of 2 years of similar
mechanical assembly experience. Must have the ability to lift up to 30 lbs with out assistance.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently and have a strong work ethic,
sense of urgency and a high energy level. Should be a self-starter, work well with little
supervision, and be results oriented. Must be able to get a secret (or interim secret) clearance
before starting, prefer someone that already has a clearance.
IMPORTANT: Must be able to train on days for multiple weeks, then transition to second shift.
Must be able to work overtime when needed to meet business needs.
Desired:
Experience working an off shift.
