Program Managers have the authority and responsibility for the execution of a major contract or
multiple small contracts.  The Intelligence, Reconnaissance and Surveillance (ISR) program
manager will be responsible for the successful execution of a development contract that
integrates, demonstrates, and fields hyper-spectral ISR systems for manned and unmanned
airborne platforms and ground based applications.



Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for meeting all contractual requirements of the program.
Defines the program vision and objectives, and obtains customer and executive management
concurrence.
Responsible for related proposals and contract negotiations.
Develops a program plan that meets all contractual requirements:
Program Organization
Responsibility Assignment Matrix
Integrated Master Schedule
Work Breakdown Structure
Program Control Plan, including EVMS for larger programs
Key program metrics for tracking cost, schedule, technical and customer satisfaction performance
Subordinate plans as appropriate:  Program Engineering Plan, Systems Engineering Plan,
Manufacturing Plan, Subcontract and Material Plan, Quality Plan
Coordinates with other programs and support functions to staff the program and assign
responsibilities.
Performs regular reviews of program performance in accordance with company processes, and
communicates the state of the program to the program team, executive management and
customers.
Continually improves program performance with staff training, new tools and process
improvements.
Implements an effective risk management process in accordance with company processes.
Assures effective management of subcontracts and execution of the program material plan.
Primary customer contact.  Responsible for establishing and maintaining a high level of customer
satisfaction.
Establishes a roadmap for creating new business opportunities from the present program and
participates in the capture of follow-on business.
Provides program management training and mentoring to the program's staff.
Responsible program compliance with all applicable regulations (e.g., FAR, ITAR) and company
policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering, Program Management or related discipline.
10 years project/program management experience.
Knowledge of project cost accounting, forecast planning including Earned Value Management
Systems and profit planning.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Must be US Citizen; applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and
must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.


Desired Qualifications:

Graduate Degree in Engineering, Program Management or related discipline.
PM Certification.
Experience integrating electronic payloads, including antennas and sensors, on airborne
platforms.
Experience integrating and testing complex systems, including electro-optic/infrared sensors and
ground penetrating radar.
Current TS/SSBI.
